Istanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University was founded on February 19, 2009 by the Vatan Health and Education Foundation, which was affiliated with the Vatan Hospitals International chain. The university includes 10 faculties, including the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy, in addition to engineering specialties. It also includes two vocational institutes and three institutes for graduate studies, including the Higher Institute of Health Sciences, which teaches the specialty of orthodontics and prosthodontics for the specialization stage in English.

University Information
The university includes 457 teaching staff members in addition to more than 8741 male and female students in various specializations and more than 600 foreign students from different nationalities. Syrian, Iraqi and Iranian nationalities come first.
The university has 8 research centers, the most important of which are the research center for medical solutions, a hospital for human medicine and another for dentistry.
The university supports the Erasmus scholarship for student exchange with 74 universities in the European Union.
The university allows its diligent undergraduate students the opportunity to study two majors at the same time after achieving a suitable average, so that the student can graduate with two degrees at the same time.
About housing
The university does not have its own dormitory, so the first option for female students is private dormitories near the university with fees starting from 2500 dollars for the academic year. University dormitories for male students are less expensive in this area.
The Givizli Park area is a lively area served by the tram network in addition to the Metrobus, so students can live in several areas including Şirin Eflak, Zeytinburnu, and Fatih. The fees for apartments in these areas start from 300 dollars per month.

The university is located in the European part of Istanbul and consists of a single campus in the Çevizlibağ district. The Faculty of Medicine is located in the Gaziosmanpaşa district and the Faculty of Dentistry is located in the Haliç district.

Istanbul is an important economic and commercial center because it connects the Asian and European continents. Therefore, it is home to many global companies and is a center for many Arab, Syrian, Palestinian, Iraqi, Yemeni, and North African communities. It also has other nationalities, including Iranian and nationalities from the former Soviet Union and the Balkans.
About tourist and entertainment places
The European part of Istanbul, where the university is located, is considered a center for most tourist areas. The campus in the Cevizlibağ district is 15 minutes away from the Sultanahmet district. The metrobus and tram are used to reach it. The coastal area of Üsküdar in the Asian part can be reached using the Marmaray metro. The campus is close to the Fatih district, which is known as the old city or inside the walls, and is home to many nationalities, led by the Syrian community, with its many oriental cafes and restaurants.
