Istanbul Ticaret University is one of the leading private universities in Turkey. It was founded in 2001 by the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce and the Education and Social Services Foundation.

The university started its academic journey with 73 students. It has grown rapidly and now has more than 9,000 students and 300 academics.
