Founded in 1992 by the Kadir Has Foundation for Culture and Education, Kadir Has University is a private university located in Istanbul, Turkey. The foundation was established by the Turkish businessman Kadir Has, who also owned many companies and factories, including the Mercedes bus factory and the Coca-Cola factory in Turkey.

About housing
Kadir Has University has a single campus located in the Fatih district on the left bank of the Bosphorus. It is situated in a vibrant area close to the Eminönü Market, the Fatih Mosque, and other popular markets.
Accommodation:
The university has two dormitories for male and female students in the Eyüp district. Students can commute between the dormitory and the campus using the tram. The dormitory has various sports facilities and indoor swimming pools. Fees start at $2000 per academic year.
Student Apartments:
Another option for accommodation is student apartments. The Eyüp district is preferred for its easy access via the tram and is considered a relatively conservative area suitable for families. Monthly fees start at $300.

Kadir Has University is located in the European part of Istanbul, in the Fatih district, on the left bank of the Golden Horn.

Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror Mosque: Surrounded by many Turkish and Arabic markets, cafes, and restaurants. The Syrian community is concentrated in this area.
Süleymaniye Mosque: Also known as the Süleymaniye Complex, it overlooks the Bosphorus Strait. Many cafes with beautiful views are located nearby, both day and night.
Historic markets: Such as the Eminönü Market, the Sirkeci Market, and the Grand Bazaar. It is recommended to buy souvenirs, spices, and sweets from these markets.
